Cruise Cabin Not to Book

There are some cruise cabins that you should not book. Some of them can be very anoying and they will produce you stress instead of getting you relaxed.

Do not book a room that is near a restaurant like a 24-hour pizzeria. It is possible that the restaurant might have a wooden deck and this will produce a lot of noises like chairs and tables being moved back and forth (usually between 11pm and 5am, when you are trying to sleep). So, nothing under kitchen areas either.

Make sure that the cabin you are booking is not near the service elevators, otherwise you will hear a lot of noises of loading and unloading at 5am every morning of your cruise. Do not book cabins above or below the show lounge. In places next to this location you will feel the floors vibrate plus lots of noise late into the night. If you are taking small children with you, making them get to sleep will be very difficult.

It also depends the time of the year you are taking the cruise. Expect to hear music up until 3 or 4 in the morning if it is spring break season.

Carnival cruise cabins under the pool deck are also not good, you will hear every sound from above. If you make a mistake booking your carnival cruise cabin, they might not move you to another cabin due that the ship is full. Best thing you might get is a future rebate coupon for your next trip.

Try not to book cabins that are near housekeeping areas, because you will hear a lot of dry cleaning racks next to your door.

It is a good cruise tip to book a carnival cruise cabin that is surrounded by other rooms and that are far from service areas or public places.
